東莞女排早前以全勝姿態打入「元朗區小學校際排球比賽」8強。同學們在 8強和 4強賽中氣勢如虹，憑藉穩定發揮以及在場支持者的熱烈打氣，先後淘汰天水圍天主教小學及光明學校，繼去年之後再次打入決賽爭冠軍。東莞女排於決賽展現頑強鬥志，力拼之下奪得亞軍佳績。
東莞女排隊中 6B林敏希及 6C古天穎更得到賽事的「傑出運動員獎」，作為她們在整個校際比賽中優秀表現的最大鼓勵！
在元朗及天水圍眾多參賽學校當中連續兩年取得亞軍成績實屬難得，再次感謝學校對排球隊的大力支持，以及校長、副校長、老師、家長、同學、校友們等親身到場打氣鼓勵。東莞女排將會繼續以謙卑求進的態度，為學校爭光！
The Tung Koon girls’ volleyball team earlier entered the quarter-final of the “Yuen Long District Primary Schools Volleyball Competition” with a perfect record. The students were in high spirits in the quarter-final and semi-final. With their stable performance and the enthusiastic encouragement of the supporters present, they eliminated Tin Shui Wai Catholic Primary School and Kwong Ming School respectively, and entered the final again to compete for the championship after last year. The Tung Koon girls’ volleyball team showed strong spirit in the final game and won the runner-up result after hard work.
Tung Koon girls’ volleyball team members 6B Lin Minxi and 6C Gurung Tanvi received the “Outstanding Athlete Award” of the competition, which was the greatest encouragement for their outstanding performance in the entire inter-school competition!
It is rare to win the runner-up result for two consecutive years among so many participating schools in Yuen Long and Tin Shui Wai. Once again, we would like to thank TKPS for the support for the volleyball team, as well as the principal, vice-principal, teachers, parents, students and alumni who came to the scene to cheer and encourage. The Tung Koon girls’ volleyball team will continue to win glory for the school with a humble and progressive attitude!
