Dear Parents / Guardians,
- Further deferral of class assumption
In consideration of the development of the novel coronavirus epidemic, the Education Bureau (EDB) decided on 25th February, 2020 that classes of all schools (including kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, special schools and private schools offering non-formal curriculum) will continue to be suspended, with classes to be resumed on 20th April, 2020 the earliest. The exact date of class resumption is subject to further assessment. The EDB will continue to take into account the professional advice from health experts, and follow up on the readiness of schools as well as the supply of epidemic preventive materials in the community in deciding the date of class resumption. In this connection, the EDB tends to resume classes in phases. Details will be announced in due course. Schools will be informed as soon as possible so that stakeholders could make preparation.
- “Suspending classes but not suspending learning”
During class suspension, students should stay at home as far as possible to attend e-learning activities, and read more books. P.1 to P.6 students are requested to use different online and school teaching resources to study at home. The learning materials and assignments will be provided to students every fortnight. For details, please refer to the arrangement through our Teamwork School APP and School Webpage. Students should finish all the learning and assignments on time as required. Subject teachers may contact the parents in needs by means of Teamwork School App, by phone or other effective means, in order to follow up the learning effectiveness of students and cater for the diverse needs of students.
- Our school remains open
During class suspension, our school will keep the premises open till 3:30 PM on the original scheduled school days. We will arrange staff to be on duty to look after students who have to go back to school otherwise they would be left unattended at home. In such cases, parents please prepare for their lunch and the student should wear a mask at school.
- The arrangement of internal and external activities in March and April
- During class suspension, the school is going to cancel or make appropriate re-arrangement of the scheduled internal and external activities (including activities on Saturdays) as well as Parents’ workshop in March and April.
- The ‘Joyful Parent-child Day Tour’ held on 7th March, 2020 which is organized by our Parent-Teacher-Association will be postponed. Details of the re-arrangement will be confirmed after class resumption.

- The School Sports Meet held on 23rd April, 2020 will be cancelled.

- P6 Secondary School Places Allocation

- The date for the school to notify parents of Discretionary Places successful applicants is postponed to 7th April 2020.
